In this session I will discuss ways to get coding and programming instruction started in your elementary classrooms. The session will go over the basics of getting started and then will move towards highlighting ideas and strategies to integrate and embed coding into your classroom curriculum. The session will show teachers that the heart of coding is the thinking strategies that students develop as they learn to code using all the strategies that computational thinking provides.
